To help design students with hearing impairment feel more included in the society, C Foundation worked with Shanghai Puki Coordination Agency for the Deaf to jointly launch the “Silent Classes” project, which enrolled nearly 120 students. Four designer volunteers of C Foundation shared with the students what they had learned and how they pursued a career as a designer and showed them around such venues as offices and material exhibition halls, helping students know more about design as a discipline and an industry. The volunteers hoped that what they did could draw the attention of more people to these hearing-impaired students who love design and love life.
